Introduction

Completed in September 2017, the 96,000 sq ft Shared Service Centre of a multinational financial services corporation marks the largest ever managed office solution delivered by Instant Office. We have provided a full design and construction, turnkey solution to this customer, delivering outstanding results.

With the Instant Team spread out in various global locations, and the real estate team of the financial corporation in Singapore, it ultimately required exceptional communication skills on the part of ISG – which eventually led to positive acclaim.

The project

A key challenge of this project was to deliver significant engineering enhancements to a base building that lacked the infrastructure to support round the clock business activities, all within a deadline of 33 days set by the corporation. Included within the stringent programme was the installation of auxiliary air conditioning systems, 2 synchronised gensets, 20-rack MCR, 60 UPS provisions and a CRAC unit infrastructure.

We delivered an open plan office space spanning across 5 floors, with 2 breakout areas per floor, collaborative pantries, meeting rooms and private furniture booths.

Also found on every floor are functional support spaces which include huddle rooms, meeting rooms, phone booths, telepresence rooms and training rooms.

The high headcount also meant that additional provisions had to be made, such as mother’s rooms, wellness centres, a mail room and a 108 pax café that can be repurposed to accommodate Town Halls.
