Introduction

Taking center stage in the exclusive Starhill Gallery, the new Dior store lights up the ground floor with its impressive Nagoya facade and feature showcases. ISG was engaged to deliver the full refurbishment of the Dior flagship store, expanding its footprint to an impressive 6,300 sq ft, making it the biggest Dior store in Malaysia. The store was split into five eclectic sections, including shoes, bags, watches, ready-to-wear and the exclusive VIP section.

The project

Working closely with Pure Creative, a Hong Kong design partner and Dior's design team in Paris, over 200 shop drawings were produced to ensure detailing was carefully considered for each and every element. The mock up reviews and sample approval process at the offset of the project played a critical role to ensure only the best quality found its way into the store.

Full-scale mockups of the facade were constructed off-site long before ISG commenced work, which was evaluated under stringent review by the Dior design team from Paris to ensure absolute perfection. Stone flooring was also a key element and extremely important to the brand, with each slab hand-picked by Dior with the assistance of ISG. Our team accommodated significant design enhancements throughout the construction phase and the store was completed on time.
