Overview

This new 85,000 sq ft office and shared service centre has marked a significant shift in BT’s interests in Malaysia and South East Asia. Constructed over one main phase and two subsequent expansion phases, the office spans 10 floors of Tower 3, Avenue 7 in Bangsar South. Whilst ISG has delivered in excess of £100m in works for BT in the UK and Europe, this project marked the first commission ISG has been engaged in with BT in Asia.

The office itself comprises 831 seats delivered in a bench style arrangement with ample provision of private rooms and meeting rooms (with a total seat count of 457) banked around the core areas of the facility. With all enclosed spaces, double glazed modules have been used which has seen acoustic performance within these areas delivered to an STC rating of STC 41. A new raised floor system has also been installed to the entire office.
